The online store “Takelag System” offers to purchase a shortening branch SLR-073 G80 1,12 t. The branches are manufactured in accordance with the European industry standard at the production facilities under its own trademark “TAKELAG”. The model range is available in load capacities from 1,12 to 21,2 t. Non-standard products are designed individually.
The shortening branch is made of grade 8 strength components. It is used as an additional load-bearing branch, which is attached to the main link and is capable of gripping the chain of the main branch of the sling in order to shorten it. Various types of special hooks for chains can be used as universal grippers: SLR-086, SLR-073, and SLR-313.
The assembly of the chain branch does not require special equipment or skills and is similar to a constructor, where the only criterion for selecting all components is the chain caliber, which makes the assembly process quick, simple, and eliminates errors in installing elements with inappropriate load capacity. An aluminum tag with technical information is attached to the finished product.

Please check with our managers for the terms of fulfillment of individual orders for non-standard products or large batches!

Important to know!

  • conduct a visual inspection;
  • do not use branches with damaged/deformed links and hooks;
  • at ambient temperatures from -40 to +200 °C, use the nominal load capacity;
  • at ambient temperatures from +200 to +300 °C, reduce the load capacity by 10%;
  • at ambient temperatures from +300 to +400 °C, reduce the load capacity by 25%;
  • at a radius of curvature of the edges greater than 2 Ø of the chain, the load capacity is nominal;
  • at a radius of curvature of the edges from 1 to 2 Ø of the chain, reduce the load capacity by 30%;
  • if the edge rounding radius is less than 1 Ø of the chain, reduce the working load capacity by 50%;
  • do not exceed the nominal permissible load limit;
  • do not use branches without a tag or with illegible information on it;
  • do not allow knots to form on the body of the branch;
  • do not allow strong impact loads;
  • do not lift a blocked load;
  • do not use branches with hooks without latches;
  • store branches in a dry, clean place away from heat sources and sunlight;
  • take into account the change in the load capacity of the branch depending on the slinging method.
